About Us

The Master’s Chapel, Caleb University

At the spiritual center of Caleb University stands The Master’s Chapel — a vibrant, faith-filled community devoted to nurturing the spiritual life of students, staff, and the entire university family. The Chapel embodies the heartbeat of Caleb University’s mission: raising future leaders who are academically excellent, spiritually mature, and morally upright.

A Vision Rooted in Faith and Transformation

The Master’s Chapel is built upon the vision of the Proprietor, Dr. Ola Adebogun, whose passion for godliness and moral integrity is the foundation of Caleb University’s existence. He believes that true education transcends academics — it must produce men and women whose lives reflect righteousness and divine purpose. Through his leadership, spiritual development has remained an integral pillar of university life.

This vision is continually reinforced by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Olalekan Asikhia, a distinguished scholar and spiritual leader whose administration emphasizes not only academic excellence but also discipleship and godly living. Professor Asikhia’s passion is to see every student and alumnus of Caleb University stand firmly for truth, live by biblical values, and produce fruits unto godliness. Under his leadership, the university community is being molded into a model of faith-inspired excellence.

Spiritual Leadership and Pastoral Care

The daily spiritual life of the campus is guided by the Chaplain, Pastor Paul Obisesan, a man of deep conviction and compassion. Through his ministry, the Master’s Chapel has become a thriving center of worship, prayer, and transformation. Pastor Obisesan’s passion for raising a generation of students grounded in God’s Word is evident in every chapel service, fellowship meeting, and mentorship program. He tirelessly nurtures students to grow in faith, live in righteousness, and walk boldly in their Christian calling.

Student Leadership and Fellowship Coordination

Supporting this divine mandate is a dynamic team of student leaders, led by Njoku Uche Franklin, the General Coordinator of the Master’s Chapel and a 400-level student of Cybersecurity. Franklin provides both spiritual and administrative leadership to the campus fellowship, ensuring that its various departments function effectively and harmoniously. He leads prayer meetings, coordinates fellowship programs, and works closely with Pastor Obisesan and the executive team to sustain the spiritual vitality of the Caleb community.

His dedication and humility reflect the true essence of servant leadership, inspiring fellow students to grow in faith and character while remaining devoted to their academic pursuits.

A Hub of Worship, Discipleship, and Impact

The Master’s Chapel is not merely a gathering place — it is a movement of transformation. Through vibrant worship, sound teaching, prayer retreats, evangelism, and community service, the Chapel equips students to live out their faith confidently within and beyond the university walls. It is a space where hearts are renewed, destinies are shaped, and leaders are raised to influence society with integrity and divine wisdom.

At Caleb University, spirituality is not an addition to learning; it is the very foundation upon which true education stands. Through the unwavering guidance of its spiritual leaders and the passion of its students, The Master’s Chapel continues to shine as a beacon of faith, excellence, and godliness — raising a generation of Calebites who will lead with light in every sphere of life.
